This colorful double strand sugar bead necklace is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This necklace has amazing colors and hues of pink, blue, gold/champagne and a few black beads as well. Double Strand Sugar Bead Pink Blue Gold Colorful Vintage MCM Era Necklace Japan  This colorful double strand sugar bead necklace is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This necklace has amazing colors and hues of pink, blue, gold/champagne and a few black beads as well. Most of the beads have an artistically applied sugar crystal effect while some are smooth. The beads seem to be luminous and a little satin like in appearance. There are small, clear bead separators in between each bead that are almost champagne like in color. The necklace has a slight graduated size towards the neckline. The necklace measures approximately 22" and locks with a simple hook clasp. The beaded end of the chain can be used to shorten up the necklace a bit. The necklace is only hallmarked Japan, the origin, on the hook. The necklace is from the 1960s, perhaps a tad bit later. Conditional issues are signs of use and wear, surface scratching, and metal wear. This is a colorful vintage necklace that is best for someone who enjoys and appreciates preowned jewelry that is a bit older and perhaps flawed and a bit imperfect but has character, history and a bit of history too. The necklace appears to be made with quality and should last for many more years to come.
