Slight discoloration due to age in the recesses. A vintage sterling silver heart locket, its front set with pavé marcasite inside a milgrain frame and an openwork filigree gallery. It opens to two heart-shaped compartments, so it actually works as a photo locket rather than just looking like one. Markings Stamped 925 on the back of the upper lobe, with a second stamp beside it that begins FA and is too worn for me to read. No maker's mark I can attribute.
