Vintage Butterscotch Bakelite Button Earrings Gold Tone Leverback Mid Century  This pair of Bakelite pierced earrings are preowned and are in good condition for the right person. These are a button style earrings that fit relatively close to the earlobe and have a dark butterscotch color somewhere between orange and brown. The earrings are each a bit different with the material and have a slight marbling effect.  These earrings measure approximately 5/8" long x 1/2" wide. The earrings are a pierced leverback style and the back paddles and hinges are tight and working appropriately. These are lightweight earrings and should not pull down the ear lobe.  The earrings are not hallmarked.  Conditional issues are light surface scratching on both earrings, metal wear with some plating loss with general signs of use and wear. The earrings are best suited for someone who enjoys older, vintage jewelry items which usually have a few flaws or imperfections but always have character, history and some mystery too.
