It features a heavy, organically pooled base that tapers seamlessly into an asymmetric, sweeping teardrop rim with a signature folded lip. The color is Holmegaard's famous aqua marine water blue, which shows brilliant depth and transitions beautifully depending on the light.The base features a fully authentic, crisp diamond-point hand-etched signature reading: "HOLMEGAARD 19 PL 53", dating this piece exactly to the launch year of the series. Condition:Great vintage condition! The glass is beautiful and clear with no chips, cracks, or flea bites anywhere along the delicate pointed rim or edges. As is typical for authentic 73-year-old art glass, there is minor, light surface scratching / shelf wear on the bottom base from sitting on a table over the decades. This is only visible under direct, bright sunlight and does not detract from how beautifully the piece displays. (Please see the final photo for a close-up look at the base wear). Condition: Used.
