Vintage Navajo Style Turquoise Bear Paw Bolo Tie Slide Bennett Clasp Silver Tone  This vintage bear claw shadowbox turquoise bolo slide component is preowned and is in fair condition. This bolo slide  component features a bright silver tone and is made of non-magnetic metal but is not silver as it has been tested. The piece has a traditional Navajo design of a bear claw shadowbox with a thin inlay of turquoise surrounded by hand cut dogtooth prongs. The claws are punched out open metal with black enamel offsetting and highlighting the claws as well as the back of the turquoise stone. The piece is partially handcrafted. This item measures approximately 1 & 1/4" long x 1" wide. The bolo is not signed or hallmarked that we can find. The back has a Bennett style clasp to attach to leather or fabric bolo cording. This item is vintage and dated to the 1970s to 1980s.  Conditional issues are dents along the claw "line" (this may be original where the claws were cut out of the metal), enamel wear and loss, metal wear with plating loss, spots and discolorations, surface scratches with signs of use and wear. This bolo slide component is best for someone that appreciates vintage items which many times have flaws and imperfections but also have character, history and a bit of mystery too.
