Beautiful mid-19th century Chinese export porcelain plate in the classic “One Hundred / Thousand Butterflies” pattern. Features a central bouquet of pink peonies and flowers with butterflies and insects, surrounded by a dense border of multicolored butterflies on a gilt ground. Vibrant famille rose enamels. Measures 9.5 inches diameter. Unmarked, as typical for the period. Good antique condition with expected light wear to the gilt and minor surface soiling on the reverse; no major chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
