These tools are constructed from cast iron, steel, and hardwood. Collection of antique hand planers and one moulder. Includes Stanley, Bailey, and JOH. WEISS & SOHN WIEN, models and traditional wooden body planes. These tools are constructed from cast iron, steel, and hardwood. All are aged, brown with some rust and metal patina. The collection includes eight distinct pieces of varying sizes and styles for woodworking. All of the planes are complete with one exception. The largest JOH. WEISS & SOHN WIEN plane is missing its blade. My grandfather was born in Austria in 1890. He became a carpenter's apprentice at 16. I believe the JOH. WEISS & SOHN WIEN pieces came with him to the United States in 1922. I inherited these items in 1975 and they have been in a box since then. Just cannot keep everything I want to keep so I am looking for a new home for these pieces. Condition: Used.
