The earrings are hallmarked only with 925 on the back of each earring in addition to both of the hooks being marked 925. Celtic Mothers Trinity Knot Sterling 925 Pierced Dangle Vintage Earrings Tested  These elegant long dangle drop Celtic knot earrings are preowned and are in good condition for the right person. These earrings feature a bright and shiny silver tone with a open metal filigree long style knot sometimes known as a Mother's knot or a Trinity knot or even a Urnes Viking style braided knot. The earrings have a handcrafted look though we cannot confirm but they have always remained unique and commented upon when worn. The earrings measure approximately 1 & 1/8" long x 1/2" wide. The earrings are a pierced hook style and the hooks are in good condition. The earrings are hallmarked only with 925 on the back of each earring in addition to both of the hooks being marked 925. The earrings are lightweight and should not bring the earlobe down.  Conditional issues are tarnish and/or patina, metal wear at the hooks, surface scratching with signs of use and wear.
