It is Pexto’s top of the line MB1 model in standard 10 inch sweep This brace works great, It has a steel clad ball bearing head and Universal Ball Bearing chuck with self centering spring loaded Jaws. Made In USA. This ball bearing chuck makes tightening down on and loosening an auger bit much easier. The handles are beautiful Cocobolo. Brace has gently cleaned, lubricated and Tested. This bit brace is circa 1950 or so more than 75 years old and will last another lifetime with normal maintenance. Fine collectible user. My goal is to place as many of these high quality, made in the USA vintage hand tools back into the hands of today’s craftsmen. I would never “part out” a good tool just for the proceeds. If the tool I have acquired is serviceable I will put it into as good of condition it can be and sell to friends or on eBay.
