The earrings are very lightweight and will not bring down the earlobes. The earrings are dated to the 1970s, possibly a tad bit earlier. Vintage 1970s Pastel Enamel Daisy Flower Clip On Earrings Gold Tone Filigree  This pair of vintage, mcm daisy earrings are preowned and are in good condition for the right person. These button-style earrings feature a brassy gold tone with the shape of a textured flower head accented with a multi-tone matte enamel finish in soft mint green and periwinkle blue petals that radiate from a coral pink center. The colorful daisy is framed by an intricate, bright gold-tone openwork wire filigree border (attached at the back) which adds structural depth and a classic vintage silhouette. The reverse side showcases  mid-century costume engineering. It features traditional Western European style filigree backs with clip-on paddles with cutout tips. The earrings are assembled on a multi-layered framework where a central structural base disc anchors the flower head directly onto a beautifully scalloped open filigree backing plate that shows through to the front edges.   These earrings measure approximately 1 & 1/16" long x 1 & 1/16" wide. These are clip on earrings and the back paddles and hinges are tight and working appropriately. The earrings are not hallmarked. The earrings are very lightweight and will not bring down the earlobes. The earrings are dated to the 1970s, possibly a tad bit earlier. Conditional issues are some wear to the enamel, light surface scratches with general signs of use and wear. These earrings are best for someone who adores older, treasured jewelry items that may have some flaws and imperfections but have interesting character, history and a bit of mystery too.
