This one is unique because of the shape. 2014 Li Bien Glass Teardrop Ornament By Pier 1 - Angel With Doves This is a beautiful hand painted ornament. It comes with a padded decorative box, and product card. Li Bien has become known for it's beautiful hand painted ornaments every year. This year is no exception. This one is unique because of the shape. This ornament is 5" long, and has a colorful image that is painted all the way around. But this is not all. The painting on the glass of the ornament is painted on the inside of the ornament. The painting is done through a hole in the hand blown glass, and is done entirely in reverse so that it will appear as you see it in the photos. The ornament is shaped like a teardrop with a rounded tip at the bottom, and a gold color metal collar at the top and gold cord for hanging. There is also a little metal tag with the Pier 1 logo hanging on the cord.  The image is of a lovely angel in a long flowing robe with large white wings. She is in the process of releasing a dove from her hand. There is a blue/white "2014" banner on the back side of the ornament along with a couple of additional doves. The background is green. The box is a rectangular box that is padded inside on all six sides. On the outside the box is a blue color, and the surface has a texture on it. It looks like a high end textured wrapping paper. The set also includes a folded color tag that describes the process of making these ornaments.  As in the past, these ornaments probably will not last very long, especially these  unique designs. So please take a look. Perhaps you know someone who collects these angels, why not give it a shot.
