The second cab is an oval 37mm long and 24mm wide. The total length of this fine handmade piece is about 3 1/8 inches, and the width is just about 1 1/2 inches. The large cabochon is bound by an outer string of silver beads and an inner edge of silver rope. This wonderfully crafted vintage piece is in very good used condition, with the typical light scratches common to sterling silver and onyx. It is stamped on the back with "Mexico 925 TJ-86" markings, which would indicate Taxco as the Mexican city of origin. The pendant is coupled with a new sterling silver 20 inch rope chain (with lobster closure).
