Stunning pair of antique, mid 1850's, French Empire Style Napoleon III four-light gilt bronze and marble candelabras featuring a putti/cherub standing on a half sphere holding a bow in one hand and holding an anthemion-molded cup supporting four molded cups with floral scrolls in the other. The sphere rests on a brown marble base that rests on four raised feet an is decorated with bronze appliques. Measures 22 ¾” high x 8” wide and x 5” x 5” at base and weighs just over 20 lbs pre-ship. In Exceptional condition with the exception of there is a small chip to the edge of the one marble base and some tiny fleabites (only felt by running a finger across the edge) to some spots on the edge corners, commensurate with age.
