UP FOR SALE! - Let Alone, In This Condition! But after wearing (& wearing out) the first 3 pairs, I didn't have the heart to wear this final 4th pair (because these were just such beautiful sneakers (& IMO, by far, the nicest sneaker Puma ever put out!). ). UP FOR SALE!!  An EXTREMELY RARE Pair of 1997 Puma Cell Sneakers (that basically, you can't find anywhere else!) - Let Alone, In This Condition!!   They are Black Leather w/ Silver Stripes, Men's Size 10; Originally Owned, Never Worn, & Still - In AMAZING CONDITION!! Originally Owned: So I personally know the history of these things!   The Story Behind These Pumas:   These Puma's were originally purchased (personally) in 1997 - along with 3 additional pairs at that time (because when I find something I really like, I will sometimes "stock up on it" because I know it's just a matter of time before you won't be able to get it anymore... & because I LOVED these Pumas, I bought a few pairs to last me for a while...   But after wearing (& wearing out) the first 3 pairs, I didn't have the heart to wear this final 4th pair (because these were just such beautiful sneakers (& IMO, by far, the nicest sneaker Puma ever put out!) - And most comfortable too!!   So (this particular pair) wound up just sitting in storage (basically by default) - for over 28 years now!).   The ONLY time these sneakers (may have) been worn, was when I (most likely) tried them on in the store right before I bought them (I honestly can't remember if I tried them on or not, but knowing myself, I always try on sneakers when I buy them (& the fact that the laces are undone also makes me think that I most likely / probably tried them on) - because at the time, I did have the intention to eventually wear them at some point...   They were simply purchased, brought home, & then kept in the box (waiting their turn along with the other pairs) for me to wear them at some point) - but that never happened, because like I said, I just didn't have the heart to wear this final pair because I really loved these things, so I felt like maybe I should just save them & preserve them; because it just felt like you would never see another Puma sneaker like this again - & I was right!   ...And so, they remained in their box!   Look at the pics & see for yourself, these things are just flat out gorgeous!! - & they still look brand new because basically, they are!! - Again, I just brought them home, & kept them in the box (literally).   The asking price is what?? Yes, I'm aware it's high. So let's cover that. For starters, it's a little tough for me to let these go (because they are that special), so that's part of it; but ultimately (& the bottom line here from a collecting standpoint) is that I KNOW this is a "special find" that is EXTREMELY RARE at this point! - How Rare?? Try to find them!! & Good luck doing so!! - (especially, in this condition!!) - This is a VERY RARE FIND at this point!! Especially, if you are a sneaker collector (& specifically, a Puma collector!).   I’ve thoroughly looked for these on multiple occasions myself & have NEVER seen them ANYWHERE on the open market!! It's almost as if these things just don’t exist anymore, & it's like this is the only pair left out there!! - I'm sure there must be other pairs (somewhere), but where?? I personally haven't seen these ANYWHERE!! - And I've Looked!!   If you can find this exact same sneaker anywhere else (especially in this condition) send me the link because I’d love to see it! - You know what, I'll do you one better, forget the condition of the sneaker; just try to find this exact sneaker for sale somewhere / anywhere!! And then let me know... Because (from what I've seen (or better yet, from what I haven't seen), These Sneakers (at this point) just don't seem to exist! - & that makes (this pair) - EXTREMELY RARE!!   So again, if you're a fan of puma & you collect sneakers, then this (to me) is like a "holy grail" type of a find! They are originally owned, over 28 years old, virtually impossible to find, & basically, still in Brand New Condition!   A little more info. on these sneakers: (please be sure to check out the pics for an accurate depiction of the sneaker's condition) as I tried to photograph these as best I could to show their true condition (which is again, still pretty amazing!). The air bubbles in the heel of the sneaker (at this point) now seem to show a little age / discoloration; but after 28 years in storage, I guess something like that is to be expected (I took pictures of all 4 air bubbles). The box itself has some wear, but still in "decent" condition (and it is the original box these sneakers came in) - again, I never actually intended to "collect" these, so the box was never wrapped up or anything (but it is the original box, & the sneakers themselves lived inside of this very box for 28 years!).   Also as already mentioned, they are black leather (whether it's "real leather" or not, I don't know) but it certainly seems like leather! So basically, they are "black leather" with silver stripes (Men's Size 10) - & if you look at the pics, they list as "Black / Silver" on the box.   Other than that, if there are any other "defects" that you feel this sneaker may have, then it's either from just aging over the years, or, it's pretty much EXACTLY the way these sneakers were when I bought them!   And as I already alluded to (especially with being a Puma fan myself), in my opinion, this particular design is one of the (if not THE) greatest looking / best designed sneaker Puma ever came out with!! - Again, these things are just flat out GORGEOUS!! And again, not to mention, at this point, EXTREMELY RARE!!   It's a Great Chance to Own Some Really Special "Collectable" Vintage Puma Sneakers in FANTASTIC CONDITION!!  - BUY IT NOW!! :)   Important: This is a Final Sale / No Return Purchase! BUT, if you look closely, you'll also notice on the box that these sneakers were purchased at a FOOT LOCKER store (& in case you haven't heard this) Foot Locker is starting to close down all of their stores! So once that happens, even more "collector value" gets added to these sneakers (because they were bought in a brick & mortar Foot Locker Store (& the BOX proves it!) - Again, this is just some "collector stuff" - but, it is a legit & relevant aspect (from a collecting standpoint!).   One Final Side Note w/ Pricing: The “asking price” of these sneakers will only INCREASE with time (as it has done so already twice). I have no intention to return to prior asking prices, or go lower with the asking price.
