He studied extensively under various Buddhist masters, eventually becoming one of the most respected monks of his time. He served as the abbot of Wat Rakhang Khositaram in Bangkok, where he undertook numerous charitable and religious activities. Somdej Toh is remembered for his emphasis on the practice of loving-kindness (Metta) and compassion (Karuna) in Buddhism. He was also skilled in meditation practices and was said to have attained deep states of concentration and insight. His Somdej amulets are believed to possess protective and auspicious qualities, and they are highly sought after by Buddhist devotees in Thailand and beyond.
