View Vtg Germany 6 Dishes Candy Nuts Trinket Square Reticulated Edge Courting Couple with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. They could be used as trinket dishes, nuts or candy, or as a teabag rest for individual tea sets. This is a grouping of 6 vintage identical small ceramic dishes, featuring a courting couple design in the middle, and signed "Germany" on the back side. The edges are reticulated and scalloped, and are in a square shape measuring just under 4" on each side. Around the central scene is a design of roses at the corners on a black oval background, and swooping garlands in between. There are two bands of gold gilding along in the inner and outer edges. They could be used as trinket dishes, nuts or candy, or as a teabag rest for individual tea sets. I do not see any damage on any of the 6 dishes in terms of chips or cracks, but there is some loss to the central design on some dishes and in some areas gold gilding loss.
