I have no idea about age because there are no markings except for a “VA” on the bottom portion. The bottom locks in and turns to separate from the owl body. The bottom in flat and holds the candle. Vintage Ceramic Owl Candle Holder Indoor/Outdoor Figurine Pottery Vintage ceramic/pottery owl figurine candle holder. This was found in a home where the woman was in her 90’s about 5 years ago. It has been sitting in a box in my house. I forgot about it. It is in great condition. I have no idea about age because there are no markings except for a “VA” on the bottom portion. The bottom locks in and turns to separate from the owl body. The bottom in flat and holds the candle. There are painted owl talons on the bottom portion. There is candle wax still in the section. This has been used and you can see black from where the flames blackened the inside. The owl is 6” tall and 5” across at the wings. There aren’t any chips or cracks.
