Platinum. 2.5 inches long. Top is 11.9 mm in diameter. Anchor Hallmark. .................... Description, Comments, Notes: This is a perfect example of quintessential Edwardian refined elegance and sophistication. Antique Edwardian 14 karat yellow gold, platinum, and natural saltwater pearls stickpin. It is set with 2 small old European cut diamonds approximately 2 mm in diameter each. They are each near colorless or better (H+) and have little or no inclusions even when examined with 10 power magnification (VS clarity).  The center pearl measures approximately 2.5 mm wide. The twelve matching surrounding pearls measure approximately 1.9 mm each. They are all fine quality. They are white or a light cream color depending on the viewing and lighting conditions. The pin is marked 14 karat gold, and the center section of the top that holds the diamonds has a layer of platinum on the front. There is also an anchor hallmark. The pin measures approximately 2.5 inches long.  The top measures 11.9 mm in diameter.   The top part of the pin with the pearls, diamonds, and platinum is in very good condition. The stem shows signs of use but is completely functional and sound. The stem is also not visible when the pin is worn.
