View RARE Paper Mache Catrina Day Of The Dead Mexican Folk Art 31"x23" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. In all of my years collecting Catrinas, I have never come across anything like this. Nor was I able to find anything similar online. She is made of a combination of paper mache and wooden dowls, and is a little over 2 1/2 feet tall. The quality and attention to detail are excellent especially in the way it is painted and the application of the paper mache hair. Her dress is beautiful and clearly handmade with care. Her hat is a playful self reference. The dowls used for the arms and legs allow her to be posed in different positions. This lady would be perfect for the discerning collector of Mexican folk art or for a Dios de las Muertos celebration. Condition: Used.
