One of the original red berries, has been replaced with a standard red plastic bulb of similar size. Based upon my research I believe this to be a Holland mold tree, specially the base design, as other exact examples from 1972 are marked as such, while this one is not. Gorgeous, very vintage, mother of pearl, iridescent white, 19” ceramic Christmas tree, with red berries and star shaped base. The beautiful tree is free of chips, cracks or signs or repair. Based upon my research I believe this to be a Holland mold tree, specially the base design, as other exact examples from 1972 are marked as such, while this one is not. The vintage tree was commissioned December 25, 1972 by Mrs. Laughlin. One of the original red berries, has been replaced with a standard red plastic bulb of similar size. The 7.5’ power cord is free of any damage or repairs and has integrated thumb switch. One small area under the base, is missing some pearl glaze. This 53 year old hand crafted tree would be a nice addition to your collection or simply to add a touch of elegance to your home this holiday season!
