DESCRIPTION Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Turquoise Modernist Pendant Necklace This is a striking vintage Native American Navajo-made sterling silver pendant necklace. The modernist pendant has a diagonally bezel-set brilliant blue turquoise elongated oval cabochon with a fine dark matrix and flecks of pyrite, an elegant cutout design at the top and deep lines spraying out from the shadowbox around the edges. The necklace has a pattern of saucer, melon and classic bench beads. The beads are strung on a link chain and the necklace has a hook and eye closure. There are no hallmark stampings which is common for vintage Native American jewelry. Total weight is 70.10 grams or 2.47 ounces.
