This is a fine Victorian period 14K gold and amethyst pendant decorated with seed pearls and scrolls. The amethyst is prong set and is approximately 4.5 carats. The back has a swivel bale allowing it to be worn as a pendant and a hook at the bottom for it to serve as a watchpin. There are no marks, but it tests 14K. The condition is excellent.
