Renoir of California in 1948. a basket weave effect. a Copper Open Cuff Bracelet. Bracelet  and  Earrings Set Vintage (mid 1950's)  RENOIR of California Basketweave Demi-Parure  Composed of  a  Copper Open Cuff Bracelet and  matching  Copper clip on earrings.  This is an early design. The copper cuff bracelet looks like  a woven basket!   The copper clip on earrings are also  a basket weave effect. The cuff contains a square cartouche signed Renoir in cursive  preceded  by a copyright symbol . Each earring clip  is signed Renoir in cursive preceded  by a copyright symbol.   Jerry Fels founded Renoir of Hollywood in 1946  which became  Renoir of California in 1948.  He was a sculptor from the Art Students League in NY. His artistic background is obvious in his jewelry designs! The jewelry displays strong geometric, modernist and abstract form. Each piece is a work of Art!!! His jewelry was sought after by Celebrities and Hollywood movie stars... Lana Turner and Betty Davis to name a few. Condition: Pre-owned - Good.
