Beautiful vintage sterling silver dangle earrings featuring marcasite accents and faceted blue stones in a classic Art Deco–inspired design. The earrings have a striking geometric style with a small oval stone at the top, an open oval link with marcasite detailing, and a larger oval blue stone set within a square frame surrounded by marcasite. These earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 inches long and have a combined weight of 7.6 grams. They are marked 925 for sterling silver. These earrings are actually unworn but do not include the original backs. They come from a collection that my mother sold in the 1980s, and this is the first of many pieces I will be listing from this collection. The posts are bent (photos included) , which is common with vintage earrings, but this is not noticeable when worn and does not affect use. They were stored for many years in sealed plastic bags to help prevent tarnishing. There is still some light tarnish present consistent with age, which many collectors prefer to leave as part of the natural vintage patina.
