Ships in bubble wrap and rugged box to ensure safe delivery.  This large handmade studio lampwork glass focal bead features an organic sculptural design with dramatic layered glass textures and vivid multicolor iridescence. The bead has a tapered form with a broad central body and textured ridges that wrap around the midsection, giving the piece a dynamic, almost geological appearance. The upper section displays flowing bands of glass in amber, lavender, violet, gold, and pale blue, blended into smooth ribbon-like swirls. Around the middle, a thick band of textured glass forms irregular ridges and folds, containing reactive frit and metallic luster effects that create flashes of yellow, green, and deep blue when light hits the surface. The neck is finished in deep translucent red glass and decorated with two applied ring bands accented with raised yellow-amber glass dots.
