This is a fine & clean 1-1/2" Varvill & Son No 18 round moulding plane. The plane is smooth & clean and in excellent usable condition. The cutter is clean & sharp, but it might need sharpening to bring it back to optimal use. I am offering for sale this great  Antique Vintage No 18" Varvill & Son, York 1-1/2" Round Moulding Plane Inv#CS38 This is a fine  & clean  1-1/2"  Varvill & Son No 18 round  moulding plane .  The plane is smooth & clean and in excellent usable condition.  It has the mfg name on toe and former owners name. It has the number 18 & owners name again on the heel. The plane measures approximately: 9-1/4" L x 1-7/8" W. The cutter is clean & sharp, but it might need sharpening to bring it back to optimal use. The cutter measures approx : 7" L x 1-1/2" W. The wedge is original. This early plane is in very clean condition and has a very nice feel and patina.  Photos are representative of item offered, please review photos and written descriptions carefully.
