This is a vintage Mexican 1940s/50's 980 silver brooch made in Taxco. The brooch is signed 980 Taxco and has a C clasp closure. It is in great condition and measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/8" and a nice weight. Reminds me of a Hector Aguilar design. I purchased it on a recent trip to New Mexico along with other great pieces. I don't polish my vintage Mexican and Native American silver very much, I leave it up to the buyer.
