The white coloring varies between the two, where one resembles a solid white (like whole milk) and the other is a paler, cool white (like skim milk). Vintage Fenton Hobnail White Milk Glass Footed Swung Bud Vase 8.5” Set of 2 Mrs. Edna discovered these ever popular Fenton hobnail vases at a recent estate sale and knew that she had to add them to her store. They feature decorative hobnail bumps on the foot and around the bottom with a swung top opening at the top. The white coloring varies between the two, where one resembles a solid white (like whole milk) and the other is a paler, cool white (like skim milk). The foil label on one vase is silver and magenta. It depicts a man working on glassware and reads as follows: Authentic Fenton Milk Glass Handmade. Mrs. Edna's best guess, based on the label, is that they were crafted between the late 1950s to the early 1970s. It shows some wear on the left side and is peeling off slightly at the edge. Beautiful display pieces, great for holding buds and single stem florals, they definitely would make a wonderful addition to your home and Fenton collection. Prior to being listed in my store the vases were carefully hand washed and dried. They will be ready to use or display upon receiving. They are in close to very good pre-owned vintage condition. There are no cracks, nicks, chips or repairs. There are some light signs of wear from age, use and storage, which include but are not limited to, minor scuff marks and maybe a tiny bit of residue on the inside from water and flower stems. There may be a few naturally occurring unique flaws or imperfections in the glass, from the hand crafting process involved in creating each piece, such as raised seams from the mold and variation in the coloring, design, shape and finish.
