This elegant 18k gold ladies fashion ring presents a 2.58 ct emerald cut green tourmaline stone, accented by (6) round brilliant cut diamonds, all in a tapered prong setting. The total diamond weight is 0.22 ct. The gold ring is stamped 18k with a hallmark.  The 18k stamp and hallmark are sketched, as they appear on the inside of the ring, in the third photograph of the accompanying gallery. The hallmark is a "K" with a lower-case "c" attached to the upper left end of the vertical bar in "K." The ring size is 9.  The main stone is a prong set emerald standard step-cut natural green tourmaline measuring 8.74 x 7.23 x 4.76 mm, with a 4% bulge factor. Approximate weight of stone is 2.58 ct. The tourmaline clarity is eye clean, medium, moderately strong, very slightly bluish green color. (GIA vslbG 5/4). Cut is very good. The (6) diamonds are prong set, round, brilliant cut, measuring 2.21-1.98 x 1.3 mm. Approximate weight of (6) stones = 0.22 ct.
