She wears a bonnet, fitted bodice with a bow at the neckline, and a sweeping full-length gown. This graceful vintage ceramic figurine depicts a Victorian or colonial-style flower seller/buyer carrying a flower-filled basket in each hand. She wears a bonnet, fitted bodice with a bow at the neckline, and a sweeping full-length gown. The rounded baskets feature textured backs and raised floral blossoms highlighted with hand-applied gold decoration. The figurine is finished in a glossy ivory or cream glaze with gold accents along the bonnet, facial features, clothing, baskets, flowers, dress hem and tip of shoe.  Fine overall glaze crazing and some wear to the gold decoration are present, consistent with age. It is hollow with an open underside and has no visible maker’s mark or country designation.  Estimated period is mid-20th century.   Good vintage condition with light overall glaze crazing, some wear and loss to the gold decoration, consistent with age.
