This is an unusual and unique pair of earrings in sterling silver with applied copper "hands" in a very Modernist style, dangling nicely. The earrings hang from well working screw backs. Very nice! .....modernist...... Made by the artist who uses the AE in a heart mark, those of you that have had the luck of owning a piece by this artist know just how exceptional her objects are. It has been documented that this artisan worked with Estela Popowski and Rancho Alegre according to Hougart's book on Mexican marks but no one has been able to document who she is, but I do know the objects I've had from her are quite wonderful!
