It has a safety clasp, and is marked on the pin, 925. We test the gems with a Presidium Gem tester. The gem tester cannot distinguish between a treated stone or and a natural untreated stone. Here is a beautiful hand made creation from the Victorian Era, featuring 49 rose cut garnets prong set in a 0.925 Sterling Silver open circle frame. The brooch measures 7/8 inches in diameter and weighs 2.6 grams total, including the stones. The stones are approximately 2.5 to 3 millimeters each. It is in very good antique condition. It has a safety clasp, and is marked on the pin, 925.  Winning bidder will receive the actual item pictured.  Please review the photos for a complete description.
