The City Bag has that wonderfully simple, understated design that makes vintage Coach so timeless: a generously sized flap, iconic turn lock closure, adjustable crossbody strap and practical exterior slip pocket. The softly structured leather gives the bag plenty of character while maintaining its classic shape. This piece has been carefully cleaned and conditioned and presents beautifully for its age. The leather is soft and supple with a lovely natural sheen and the subtle variations and character expected from nearly three decades of age. The leather has been carefully cleaned and conditioned and remains soft, supple and structurally sound. There is light surface wear, natural creasing and subtle variation consistent with age and previous use. Brass-tone hardware shows expected patina and surface wear. A previous owner had added a small snap to the interior of the bag. The added snap has been carefully removed, leaving a tiny pinhole in the back leather panel and visible marks on the interior where the snap had been attached . This does not affect the structure or function of the bag. Please see the close-up photos for detail. The interior is otherwise clean overall with light marks and signs of previous use. Original Coach leather hangtag is present. Color Note: This bag presents as black; however, vintage Coach leather can shift slightly depending on lighting, and in certain light this piece may show subtle charcoal or deep blue/navy undertones.
