Beautiful little pin stamped "sterling" on the back. There is also a maker's or artist's mark, but I do not know who the artist is. Vintage Native American Inlay Sterling Turtle Pin Brooch 10g Signed Beautiful little pin stamped "sterling" on the back. There is also a maker's or artist's mark, but I do not know who the artist is. The pin is approximately 2 inches long (from tip of head to end of tail) and 7/8 inch wide. The blue oval stone itself is approximately 1 inch X 5/8 inch. It weighs approximately 10grams. The stone looks like lapis to me, but I am not sure. There are other colors inlaid - possibly coral or orange and red oyster shell.   This pin belonged to my mother, who often visited New Mexico with my father.  When I Google the image, it comes up as Navajo or Zuni and the stone Lapis Lazuli.
