Earrings have only been lightly polished to avoid damaging the patina and delicate wire work. As with all the vintage and antique sterling that we sell, this piece has only been lightly cleaned and polished.  We don't use harsh cleaning chemicals or make other attempts to remove tarnish or damage the patina because to do so would reduce the value of the item in the eyes of some buyers; we leave it up to our buyers to polish/not polish their jewelry as they wish.   Earrings are unmarked.  The feather dangles and round frames acid scratch tested positive for .925 sterling; we got a slight positive sterling read on the earring hooks, so they may be heavy sterling plate (they were quite thin to test properly).  Small, but with fine details/motifs. Earrings are carefully packaged and shipped in a jewelry gift box.
