A wonderfully dimensional mid-century floral brooch featuring a three-dimensional winged insect poised over a wreath of pastel flowers. The blossoms are finished in soft lavender, blush pink and buttery yellow enamel, with sparkling aurora borealis rhinestones set into their centers. The combination of pearly enamel, iridescent stones and sculptural silver-tone metal gives the piece a romantic garden-inspired appearance. The star of the design is the large dimensional insect mounted above the flowers. Its yellow enamel wings are detailed with dark veining, while the sculpted silver-tone body rises prominently from the floral arrangement.
