The bowl stands on three decorated porcelain ball feet and measures approximately 5 inches across and about 2 inches high. The underside is marked Hand Painted Nippon with the Morimura Brothers M-in-wreath backstamp, dating the piece to approximately 1911–1921. Condition is excellent for its age with no chips or cracks.
