It is constructed with layers of glossy black navette stones and sparkling aurora borealis rhinestones in a dimensional floral or starburst design. The silver-tone setting features separate sprays assembled on multiple levels, giving the brooch wonderful depth and allowing the AB stones to catch the light from nearly every angle. Depending on the light, they may flash shades of blue, green, gold, pink or violet against the glossy black stones. Measuring approximately 2.5 inches, this is a substantial statement piece. It is wonderful for evening wear, holiday dressing, the theater, a musical, a wedding or just about anywhere you want to add sparkle.  This brooch is unsigned and pre-owned vintage. I found one small flaw to one black navette stone, visible only upon close inspection Otherwise, the stones are present and the piece displays beautifully.
