The set is glazed in a deep cobalt blue with a delicate white prunus (plum blossom) motif scattered across the bowls, lids, and plates. The rich blue reads nearly midnight in low light and glows sapphire in bright light — dramatic against white linens and beautiful with gold or silver accents. Complete sets of six with their underplates are hard to come by.
