View Vintage MCM Empoli Italian Cobalt Blue Mouth-Blown Cocktail Pitcher w/ Glasses with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This particular set was manufactured in the 1950s. There are two pictures to show that one cup has a couple imperfections that are slightly more obvious, but are not cracks. The only other imperfection is a faint line around the top of the pitcher, which is an iridescent blue. Empoli glass is vintage decorative art glass produced in the Tuscan region of Italy, famous for its bright colors and mid-century modern designs. This particular set was manufactured in the 1950s. Because it's mouth blown, there are some slight imperfections. There are two pictures to show that one cup has a couple imperfections that are slightly more obvious, but are not cracks. The only other imperfection is a faint line around the top of the pitcher, which is an iridescent blue. Because this particular set was manufactured by a company that produced these sets with an iridescent blue finish, we assume that somehow there was overspray from another lot which touched this particular pitcher, but not the glasses. It could also simply be due to the glass making process itself, perhaps some smoke that transferred into the glass, as there is a cinder that is also embedded in the glass (shown in a separate picture). These imperfections are hardly noticeable in certain light, as you can see. MEASUREMENTS: Pitcher is 6" wide x 5" tall (not including handle). glasses are roughly 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" tall.
