Vintage hand-carved wooden pineapple sculpture featuring a dimensional carved fruit body, individually shaped radiating leaves and a sculpted pedestal base. The warm dark-brown finish highlights the natural wood grain and hand-carved details throughout. The underside bears a handwritten/hand-incised personal inscription referencing Hilo, Hawaii , although portions of the inscription are difficult to decipher. No confirmed commercial manufacturer's mark is present, and the individual artisan has not been identified. A distinctive piece of vintage Hawaiian or Polynesian-inspired decorative art, ideal for tropical, coastal, tiki, island or eclectic décor. Approximate Measurements: 9" tall × 3.5" diameter Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear. Two of the upper wooden leaves have previous glued repairs.
