The teapot is structurally sound with no dents or deep dings. Underside is clearly stamped with the official International Pewter Eagle hallmark and the pattern/model number 27730. The main interior and lid remain exceptionally clean and free of deep pitting, with only a trace of minor dark tarnish inside the spout tip and faint golden tarnish swirls on the inside bottom. Beautiful vintage 1930s Art Deco pewter teapot manufactured by the International Silver Company under their "International Pewter" division Designed to hold water for 2 cups of tea. Striking transitional design, blending a squat, rotund mid-century silhouette with a unique handle wrapped in a ribbed, cream-colored celluloid / plastic coil designed to protect hands from heat. Underside is clearly stamped with the official International Pewter Eagle hallmark and the pattern/model number 27730 Measures almost 4 inches high and 8 inches wide. Good to very good vintage condition overall.  The teapot is structurally sound with no dents or deep dings.  The exterior displays a classic satin matte patina but does show signs of age and handling, including a few clusters of light scuffs and one notable, prominent vertical surface scratch on the body (see 5th photo) The main interior and lid remain exceptionally clean and free of deep pitting, with only a trace of minor dark tarnish inside the spout tip and faint golden tarnish swirls on the inside bottom.  The wrapped handle is tight and secure.   Ships quickly from a smoke-free home Condition: Used.
