Beautiful vintage Murano Italian art glass crown paperweight featuring an intricate multicolored millefiori/murrine center surrounded by alternating pink ribbon twists and delicate white latticinio/filigree twists. The pink twisted ribbons appear to be accented with sparkling gold/copper aventurine, creating a beautiful shimmer as the paperweight is turned in the light. The colorful millefiori crown includes numerous individually patterned glass canes in shades of blue, yellow, red, green, orange, white and additional colors, all encased within heavy clear glass. This is a substantial hand-crafted piece weighing approximately 1 lb. 10 oz.
