Vintage EMIG model 306 decorative double toggle light switch plate featuring an ornate openwork scroll and fleur de lis design. The reverse is clearly marked “EMIG” and “306.” EMIG was a maker of decorative cast metal household accessories and architectural hardware based in Reading, Pennsylvania. This substantial vintage wall plate features a gold brass tone finish with an aged, distressed surface and attractive patina. The elaborate pierced scrollwork at the top and bottom gives the plate a distinctive Mid Century decorative appearance with Victorian and Colonial Revival influences. Original vintage condition with considerable age related finish wear, oxidation, darkening, spotting, patina, and surface wear as shown. This has not been polished or refinished.
