Early 20th‑century Art Deco era (circa 1910–1930) shell cameo habillé brooch featuring an unusually fine hand‑carved portrait with deep relief, detailed hair tendrils, crisp facial features, and well‑defined floral drapery. At her neckline is an applied white‑metal chain and geometric pendant, likely white gold or silver, set with a tested single‑cut diamond. The cameo face is clean with no cracks. Traditional habillé construction is present, including the original pass‑through hole on the reverse used to anchor the pendant wire. The ornate filigree‑style frame is a beautiful frame for the cameo. No hallmarks found, which is typical for filigree cameo settings of this era. The reverse shows only the original pass‑through opening from construction. 2 inches x 1.5 inches. Weighs 13g.
