A small coordinating floral bouquet decorates the center. The underside bears the Hand Painted Nippon M-in-Wreath backstamp associated with Morimura Brothers, an early predecessor to Noritake. This large shallow bowl measures approximately 11" across x 1.5" high and features elegant integrated pierced handles. The white porcelain is decorated with delicate floral sprays in soft green and brown tones surrounded by elaborate gold gilt floral and vine decoration, with additional gilding along the rim and handles. A small coordinating floral bouquet decorates the center. The underside bears the Hand Painted Nippon M-in-Wreath backstamp associated with Morimura Brothers, an early predecessor to Noritake. The M-in-Wreath Nippon mark is associated with the 1911–1921 period. Condition: Good antique condition for a piece more than 100 years old. There is noticeable age-related wear and loss to portions of the gold decoration, particularly along the rim and handles, along with light surface wear consistent with age and use.
