Look at the “new” ones Vans just released… these, USED look cleaner and newer. Look it up. And these have been cleaned all throughout. NOT the white stitching, the black fabric part. I had tried to pull it at one point and nothing happened. Look at the “new” ones Vans just released… these, USED look cleaner and newer. Vans just recently released a style of Vans like this, that purposely come looking all dirty and beat up and discolored. Look it up. And these have been cleaned all throughout. These are not found anywhere on eBay. Anywhere on the web is also unlikely. These were a very limited edition from a few years ago, and were one of my more well taken care of, yet used, limited editions. The soles are still mostly very white, and there is NO separation of the rubber whatsoever. No holes in the bottom rubber either. No ripping or tearing of the rubber anywhere. The “black shading” on the white rubber, I believe is the white paint fading off, not dirt or marking. LOOK CLOSE. They have been WORN / USED, but clean and very rare. They are virtually intact except for one strange area, that I didn’t notice at first CAME that way when bought: the EDGES of the back corner canvas (shown in the last pic) is frayed. NOT the white stitching, the black fabric part. It doesn’t come undone, yet it is frayed. I would definitely leave it as is and not go messing with it… doesn’t appear to be coming apart at all. I had tried to pull it at one point and nothing happened. I would definitely leave that as is. Black, suede and canvas and the white logo strip, as white clean as nearly the day they were bought, is leather I believe.
