The bootsare suede, and a hard, rough rugged nylon, which I do believe should be waterproof (the site says so)with a steel toe and a hard rubber Vibram sole. Exactly as shown in pics. The last three pics show how they look on a person. The ONLY reason I am selling these boots is because they no longer fit. And I am shipping them FAST to you. They were $200 something dollars brand new- you can research that: the STEEL TOE versions are not easily found- and they are VERY expensive. They are tactical/field boots, military approved and standard use, but I used them as hiking boots. I don’t remember what size exactly these are. They measure 11 1/4 inches along the bottoms, and the original insole measured 10.5 inches. I got rid of it when I cleaned / disinfected them. There is currently a pair of more comfortable insoles from a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes inside , because those are much much much more comfortable for your feet. They are cushioned leather and are relatively new. These boots have recently been cleaned and disinfected inside, and on the outside cleaned as best as possible for their usage. There is no damage that affects the functionality of the boots , but there is an area on the rubber side seam that has split, but not opened up or come apart, and it has definitely not split through into the inside of the boot, so they are still supposedly waterproof. Also, these are the versions that are sealed all the way up (sock-like) so they don’t even need to be laced, but the original laces w ere old and useless- I got rid of them since these were first posted, so I will be replacing them and with a pair of new ones in the case as shown in the last two pics.
