This is an Alfred Philippe design patented August 18th, 1953, patent number 170,209, The brooch is part of the FLIRTATION collection from 1953. Good pre-owned condition. Some fine surface scratches, spots of gold finish wear and patina on the gold finish (see close up pics). NOTE:  Some missing/dead crystal chaton and baguette stones were replaced with NOS Swarovski crystals of the same cut, size, and color.  All remaining original stones are intact and in very good to excellent condition with minimal variation in color and clarity.   Underside of brooch is signed TRIFARI with a crown over the T and "Pat. Pend."  This is an Alfred Philippe design patented August 18th, 1953, patent number 170,209,  The brooch is part of the FLIRTATION collection from 1953.  Brooch is featured in COLLECTING COSTUME JEWELRY 202 by Julia Carroll, on page 203.
