A large domed faux pearl anchors the center within a sculpted swirling surround. The combination of radiating celestial geometry, seed-pearl ornamentation and antiqued gold-tone detailing deliberately recalls Victorian and Edwardian star and sunburst jewels. This is a later costume-jewelry interpretation rather than an antique Victorian fine-jewelry piece. Its molded construction, gold-tone finish and safety clasp support a Victorian Revival dating.
